Hi, I’m Alex Ross, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and owner of Strong K9 Dog Training. I have a passion for working with dogs and helping them reach their full potential. My goal is to help dogs and owners build a better relationship with each other through a balanced approach using strong leadership, positive reinforcement, and conditioning methods.

My passion for working with dogs grew from having had two Rhodesian Ridgebacks as family pets. Through my experiences with these dogs, I learned about the importance of leadership, socialization, and companionship. I then decided to accelerate my knowledge of dog training by enrolling in the Canine Academy Professional Dog Training program.

I offer a range of programs from Puppy Foundations to Obedience Foundations for adult dogs. My goal is to give clients the confidence and knowledge to manage their dogs and no longer require a trainer. I provide a clear outline for each of the lessons in Puppy Foundations while the Obedience Foundations program is more catered to the needs of the dog and owner.

All of my programs take place in the home, while some of the lessons will involve traveling to a busier area for socialization purposes. I provide you with a list of mandatory tools and equipment you must have before starting any of the programs.
